Police have taken a man into custody after he set an OLA showroom on fire in Karnataka's Kalaburagi region after the electric scooter manufacturer failed to solve the problem his vehicle was facing.

The arrested person was identified as Mohammad Nadeem.

He was reportedly disappointed with the repeated alleged poor repair of the vehicle.

In a fit of rage, he set the showroom on fire.

The fire caused extensive damage, destroying multiple vehicles, spare parts, and various pieces of equipment. The estimated cost of the damage is approximately Rs 8.5 lakh, Indian news agency UNI reported.

He was later arrested by the police.
