Bengal Police seized huge cache of arms, 5 arrested

Kolkata, July 1 (UNI) West Bengal Police has arrested five ruffians under arms act and seized firearms, including six guns and many live bullets during a raid into a hideout in Midnapore district, official sources said today.

Among the five arrested, two of them from Delhi, one each from Bihar, Jharkhand and Kolkata.

Police said following an input the special police force raided the house of Belu Gorai at Jhardanga area of Midnapore town early today and arrested the five ruffians and seized two 9 mm revolvers, four single bore gun, 36 round of bullets, 10 cell phones and two motorcycles.

Police said it was a big catch into the Midnapore town in recent time.
