Assam Rifles nab three militants of KCP and KYKL in Nagaland

Kohima/IBNS: Troops of Assam Rifles have apprehended three Manipur based militants in Thewati area in Nagaland’s Phek district.

The nabbed militants are belonging to Kanglei Kanna Yawol Lup (KYKL) and Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP)

Based on specific input, troops of Assam Rifles launched an operation and apprehended three militants of KCP and KYKL from the area.

The security personnel had recovered 13000 Myanmar currency (Rs1320) and other documents in possession from them.

The apprehended militants along with the recovered items were handed over to Meluri police station for further investigation.
