Assam Rifles conduct COVID-19 awareness campaign in Nagaland

Guwahati, Nov 30 : Shamator Assam Rifles battalion under the aegis of HQ  IGAR(N) carried out a focussed awareness drive and campaign targeting the remote villages in Nagaland's Tuensang and Noklak district.

Local medical authorities and village councils were also incorporated to obtain maximum coverage and to effectively spread awareness about COVID-19 protocols.

This endeavour has once again made villages aware and alive about the importance of social distancing and other protocols required to be followed to prevent outbreak or spread of COVID menace in these remote villages.

Dr Victor, CMO Noklak and his team was also a part of this awareness drive. Choklangan, Wensui, and all villages in Chingmei region have been addressed in the current effort.

The unit has resolved to address every village in its area of responsibility similarly before Christmas & New Year so that 2021 can be a corona free year for Nagaland.
