Assam records 191 new Covid-19 cases in last 24 hrs

Guwahati/IBNS: Assam registered 151 new COVID-19 positive cases on Monday, after which the state tally reached 4309.

In the last 24 hours (till 11:50 pm), 191 cases have been reported, including the 151 cases, state Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said.

So far, 2205 people have recovered  from coronavirus infection in Assam while 2093 people are still undergoing treatment.

The state recorded eight deaths from the pandemic.
