Guwahati/IBNS: The lone MP of Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) and one of its sitting MLA are all set to join BJP.

Assam Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday said that, lone BPF MP Biswajit Daimary and sitting MLA Emmanuel Mosahary will join BJP on Nov 22.

“Another sitting Congress MLA Rajdeep Gowala will join BJP by the end of this month or first in the month of December,” Himanta said.

Himanta Biswa Sarma further said that, several sitting MLAs are in touch with BJP and his party is not in position to accommodate all in the upcoming assembly polls in the state by giving party tickets.

“If we can’t accommodate them then we will tell them frankly that you can join but you may not get the nomination,” Himanta Biswa Sarma said.
