Aurangabad/UNI: The All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen on Monday has demanded action against those responsible for the demolition of the Babri mosque at Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh in the year 1992.

A delegation of the AMIM  party workers, led by city president Sharaq Naksabandi, met the divisional commissioner and submitted a memorandum in this regard .

Mr Naksabandi alleged some communal forces in the country were trying to divide the communities in the name of religion.

Asked why AIMIM did not observe "black day" on Dec 6 last as it usually does every year, he replied that due to ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and also not getting permission from the police to organise agitation, the party activists yesterday protested by wearing black badges.

When asked whether his party would support the 'bandh' called against the three new farm laws formed by the BJP-led central government, Mr Naksabandi said his party endorses the bandh t o show their supporthe farmers, who are the backbone of the country and they are facing problem due to these agri laws, their party is going to support the agitation, he added.
