New Delhi/UNI: Former President Pranab Mukherjee continues to be in a deep coma and there is no change in his condition, the Army Research and Referral Hospital said on Monday.

Mukherjee continues to be on ventilator support, while his vital parameters are stable, and he is being treated for a lung infection.

His condition is closely monitored by a team of specialists, and is under intensive care.

Mukherjee, 84, was admitted to the R&R hospital on Aug 10 and underwent an emergency life-saving brain surgery, after he developed a clot.

He had earlier tested positive for Covid-19.
