Imphal/IBNS: A serving Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) of the Indian Army, abducted from his residence in Manipur's Thoubal district while on leave on Friday, was rescued within hours by the security agencies.

Forty-year-old Naib Subedar Konsam Kheda Singh, a resident of Charangpat Mamang Leikai, Thoubal, was abducted from his residence and taken away in a vehicle, PRO Defence said in a statement.
