1050 bottles of illegal liquor seized in Assam’s Biswanath

Guwahati: Police seized huge quantity of illegal liquor and arrested two persons in Assam’s Biswanath district.

According to the reports, Biswanath district police on Thursday night launched an operation at different places in the district and seized 1050 bottles of illegal liquor.

Police conducted operations at Gahpur, Bihali, Sootea, Jinjia areas and seized the illegal liquor bottles.

Police also arrested two persons in connection with it.

A police official of Biswanath district said that, the operation launched in various locations in the district.

“We had seized a total of 1050 bottles of illegal liquors during the operation and arrested two persons,” the police official said.
