Postpone JEE, NEET until situation improves: Aaditya Thackeray to PM Narendra Modi

Maharashtra Minister of Tourism and Environment Aaditya Thackeray on Monday urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to assess the risk and postpone the JEE and NEET until the situation becomes conducive to hold the exams.

The National Testing Agency has announced that the JEE (Main) will be held from September 1 to 6 and NEET on September 13.

Tweeting in this regard, the Minister and Shiv Sena scion Aaditya shared a copy of the letter addressed to PM Modi.

Both of these tests, JEE and NEET, are an academic excercise held annually for the HSC pass outs seeking admission to professional courses viz. engineering and medical, among other disciplines.
