WB: Three elephants killed after passenger train runs over them
Bankura, Aug 26 (IBNS): Three elephants have lost their lives as a passenger train ran over them near Bishnupur in West Bengal's Bankura district, media reports said.
The train hit them while the elephants were crossing the tracks.
According to reports, two female adult elephants and a calf were killed.
Following the accident, train movements in that section have been badly hit.
