The Khoobsurat Unlimited is a gripping tale about women entrepreneurs

'The Khoobsurat Unlimited' by Anshika Sony is a gripping fictional tale about women entrepreneurs.

Well, to begin, we are going through an age when the concept of feminism is on the rise and here is a novel that is all about powerful women, who rule their own world.

The novel strikes the right cord at the very outset.

The story is about an all-powerful CEO, Shilpa Arora, who has created her own empire and she runs it with flair and panache, not letting anyone or anything stand in her way.

She is hated for her strict ruthlessness but she won’t be deterred. She is a woman in a man’s world and she rules it on her own terms.

But when three women turn colleagues and interact with each other, when their personal lives get entwined, the story takes an interesting turn.  Secrets, heartbreaks, love-triangles, lust, double-games, backstabbing—the story unfolds at a breath-taking pace.

It isn’t just the plot of this novel that is riveting but the characters too are strong and pioneers in their own ways.

The women here are ambitious, over-achievers, and yet emotionally vulnerable. They are the bosses, the mothers, the wives, the lovers, and the daughters-in-law.

Readers would be bound to root for each of these women whether they understand them at first glance or not.

As these women compete with each other, they are enemies but when they share their heartaches they are friends. This novel is a wonderful, wonderful tale, indeed!

This review will not be complete without a mention of the author. Anshika Sony. I would urge her to pen more such novels for us.

The society needs more women authors; female voices need to rise and make themselves heard.  Talented storytellers like Sony would surely lead the way.

And maybe, if some film director discovers on this gem of a novel then this story might just come alive on celluloid someday.

The book is now available at Flipkart, Amazon, Ebay, Snapdeal, Power-Publishers.com.
