Sly Fox Gastro Club getting ready to welcome Kolkata diners with special menu during Durga Puja

Select guests got to sample the menu at the 'Agomonir Adda' session led by none other than actor and elocutionist  Sujoy Prasad Chatterjee and singer Jayati Chakraborty.

Managing directors, Rahul Dalmiya and Karan Chhawccharia were also present.

Karan Chhawchharia, Managing Director, LXRY Restaurants LLP, of which Sly Fox Gastro Club is a part, said, “We have received a lot of love from the people of the city since we started our journey a few months back. We wanted to do something special for Durga Pujo and hence we are introducing some new dishes and beverages. The menu has been specifically assembled including items that are new to the menu.”

A peep at the special Pujo menu revealed dishes such as Eggs Nest, Crumb Fried Begun Bhaja Salsa, Aloo Moshai, Gondhoraj Fish Tikka, Tandoori Pomfret, Luchi aar Kosha Mangsho, Kakrar Tagine, Prawn Malai Curry, Sorse Bhetki, Sly Kheer, Gulab Jamun Cheesecake and beverages such as Victoria Shake, Toto, Bela Sorbet and Black Tango.

Jayati Chakraborty set the festive' mood with her rendition of a song that referred to the 'siuli' or the night jasmine, typically linked with autumn when the Durga Pujo is held.

Sujoy Prasad Chatterjee reminded the gathering that Durga Puja is about the strength of a woman and the triumph of good over evil. He also appreciated the special menu to be served by Sly Fox and said he would be visiting the gastro pub during the festive days to try out the special menu.

The special menu will be available Mahalaya (Oct 8) onward. Cost for two people would be Rs 1200 plus GST.
