'Project Pankh' launched in Kaiga to make youth computer-savvy
Bangalore, July 30 (IBNS): NPCIL Kaiga Atomic Power Station & Aptech Limited, a global education solutions provider, have come together and started a Computer Training Centre recently at Kaiga township in Mallapur.
This initiative, called 'Project Pankh' is aimed towards the upliftment of educated youths living in the villages around 16km radius of the Kaiga Generating station NPCIL.
Addressing the gathering H.N. Bhat, Site Director, KGS 1-4 said to the beneficiaries who will be undergoing the computer training in the first batch: "Under CRS Program NPCIL Kaiga is facilitating such valuable and career oriented training program with the advanced skill through APTECH LIMITED at their door steps. The candidates should make full use of such golden opportunity for the career building and shaping their future."
Pravir Arora, Executive Vice President, Aptech Limited said, "We are honoured to be part of such a noble project by NPCIL, where we are helping educated, unemployed youth get IT trained to make them employable. We hope that this project helps all these young men and women obtain jobs and support themselves."
The project is initially being implemented for a period of two years after which it will be continued depending on the assessment of the requirement.
