Kolkata, Nov 7 (IBNS): Pearson VUE, a global computer-based testing company, has signed an agreement with EdgeVerve to be a provider of Finacle global certification exams.

Finacle is the industry-leading universal banking solution suite from EdgeVerve Systems, a wholly owned product subsidiary of Infosys.

The solution helps financial institutions develop deeper connections with stakeholders, power continuous innovation, and accelerate growth in the digital world.

The new agreement allows EdgeVerve’s network of partner organisations to be certified across Finacle software solutions.

This expansion of knowledge across the Finacle partner network will provide a deeper level of industry knowledge and skill set, enabling banks to reap greater benefits in their IT transformation projects. The exams will be delivered via Pearson VUE’s network of over 5,000 test centres in 180 countries around the world.

Sheenam Ohrie, vice president and global head – client experience at Infosys Finacle, said: “We chose to work with Pearson VUE to benefit from their global test centre reach and commitment in standards for certification programs. This is important for further equipping our global partner community and to ensure that we continue to provide the highest level of skill and professionalism for our customers."

Divyalok Sharma, senior director of client development at Pearson VUE, added: “This new agreement is designed to create a group of additional highly skilled Finacle professionals who can contribute to the already certified Finacle partner community. We look forward to working with a breadth of Finacle partners to install, customize, and support the use of Finacle products with confidence.”
