Kolkata, Aug 6 (IBNS): Fashion conscious men in Kolkata now have a reason to rejoice with the opening of Dapper, an exclusive designer store for menswear and accessories.

Owned by Shilpa Sethi, the store stocks apparels and accessories from ‘Rohit Gandhi+Rahul Khanna’, ‘Antar-Agni’, ‘Divyam Mehta’, ‘Suket Dhir’, ‘Arjan Dugal’, ‘VIIA’ from Chennai, ‘Enbbe’ and ‘Devanshi Didwania’,'Lacquer Embassy' (Nikhil Sharma) and 'Cosa Nostraa'(Tanuj Vijay).

The store launch was marked by a design collective helmed by fashion designers Ujjawal Dubey, Arjan Duggal and Suket Dhir and showcased by leading models Neeraj Surana, Nick Rampal and Mohammad Iqbal.

Ujjawal Dubey, who debuted in the Lakme Fashion Week in 2014, said he expects to "bridge the gap between formal and occasional through his label Antar-Agni."

Suket Dhir focuses on contemporising and modernising a heritage. "I drew a lot of inspiration from what we have been doing traditionally and I like to communicate that on a global context," he said.

After completing his education in the United States, Duggal opted to add a fun, quirky and refreshing edge to Indian fashion wear.

These designers have dressed some of the leading names of the Indian film industry.

Vicky Kaushal, Ayushmann Khurana, Ritesh Deshmukh, and Kamal Hassan are some of the key actors styled by Ujjawal Dubey.

Arjan Dugal has styled actors such as Ranveer Singh, Rohit Sharma, and Siddhanth Kapoor while Suket Dhir has styled actors such as Irrfan Khan and Rajkumar Rao.

Located on Elgin Road, the store features both traditional and occasional wear for men.
