JDBI Kolkata arranges for virtual internship for students

Kolkata/IBNS: Kolkata-based JD Birla Institute (JDBI) has launched a month-long Virtual Internship program for its students.

According to a release from the educational institution, over 300 students are availing the opportunity with 88 leading organizations.

The Virtual Internship covers several aspects of training to stay in sync with the rapidly changing requirements towards a new global order that is emergent in the face of the pandemic, the release said.

According to the release, students in the department of Food Science and Nutrition Management have earned internships with companies such as HealthifyMe, Diet Mantra, Nutrition Tattva to mention a few. 

Students from the Department of Textile Science, Clothing and Fashion Studies are interning with ArjunAgarwal, Nero, Indian Silk House Agencies, Unicraft, Paarsh Atelier to name a few.

Best names in the Interior Design industry in eastern India such as Finesse, Art Collection, Architect, Nolte, Olive, Admire Exterior and Interior have offered internships to students from the Department of Interior Design.

Students from the Department of Human Development have been selected for internship at Carpediem, IMSE, Disha, and Jungle Crows Foundation.
