New Delhi, July 11 (IBNS): Hearst Magazines, one of the world's largest publishers of monthly magazines, and Franchise India Holdings Ltd, the largest integrated franchise solutions company in Asia, on Tuesday announced plans to launch Esquire whiskey lounges across India in a deal brokered by IMG.

The announcement was made by Steve Ross, Vice President, Global Chief Licensing Director, Hearst Magazines, and Gaurav Marya, Chairman, Franchise India Holdings Ltd.

Esquire lounges will reflect the brand’s trademark sophistication, providing guests with an immersive experience.

The first Esquire lounge is scheduled to open in central Delhi in early 2018, to be followed by 14 additional lounges in major cities across India.

"The Esquire brand has global recognition, epitomizing cool confidence, wit and style; the lounges will reflect that, offering guests a truly unique experience,” said Ross. “This partnership is an excellent opportunity to create a new business with a best-in-class operator and bring the spirit of our brand to a new audience.”

“Modern Delhites are looking for stylish venues to meet friends and colleagues,” Marya said. “The Esquire lounges will embody the brand’s character, making them a perfect fit for India’s urbane, culturally savvy community.”
