Central Agricultural University to open in Karnataka: Agriculture Minister
New Delhi, June 24 (IBNS): Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers Ananth Kumar on Tuesday met Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh where the latter said he will consider opening a central agricultural university in the state.
He was accompanied by former Karnataka Chief Minister Yeddyurappa.
Various matters including those relating to availability of fertilisers for the current season were discussed, the Ministry of Agriculture said in a statement.
They presented a memorandum to the Agriculture Minister on promoting agricultural growth in Karnataka.
