Assam Education Minister flags off free textbook carrying vehicles for Class 12 students

Guwahati/IBNS: Assam Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu on Wednesday formally flagged off free textbook carrying vehicles for students of Class 12 to all the districts from Assam State Textbooks Production and Publication Corporation Limited, complex at Bonda, Guwahati.

A total of 12, 96,636 copies of books for class 12 students will be dispatched from today onwards to 34 Districts.

The five districts scheduled for Wednesday were Dibrugarh, Dhemaji, Bongaigaon, Nalbari and Chirang.

Dr. Pegu assured that the other districts will receive the free texts books as early as possible so that the students do not face any hurdle in their study process.
