Amway India holds ‘Attitude Fashion Show’ in Kolkata

Kolkata, June 30 (IBNS) Amway India, the largest Direct Selling FMCG Company of India, organized a dazzling fashion show ‘Attitude Fashion Show’ in Kolkata recently.
The fashion show provided a platform to young women who are serious about Beauty and feel that they can build business through Beauty to showcase their talent. The fashion show aims at promoting the brand Attitude among youth.

Susmita Mukherjee from Asansol, Sulogna Sur from Sodepur, Kolkata and Asmita Adak from Kolkata were adjudged winner – ‘Miss Attitude 2016’, first and second runners up respectively. 
 
Ace Fashion designer Agnimitra Paul, beauty care expert Darshni Sanghvi and renowned model Antara Das adjudged participants on the parameters of costume, make up, walk and intelligence. The judges also selected winners in five sub-contests: ‘Beauty with Brain’ - Sulogna Sur (Contestant No. 5), ‘Beautiful Smile’ – Ishita Mukherjee (Contestant No. 4), ‘Beautiful Eyes’ – Madhurima Pal (Contestant No. 10), ‘Beautiful Hair’ – Nayanika Roy (Contestant No. 9) and ‘Flawless Skin’ – Ishita Noor (Contestant No. 2).

 The fashion show revolved around three themes – Traditional Round where contestants showcased ethnic attire. Contestants presented themselves in western attire in the Casual Round. The third round was christened “Evening Gown” Round where participants flaunt their positive attitude with aplomb.  Participants used shades of lip and nail colours from the new range of Attitude.

The top five contestants who reached the final round were Susmita Mukherjee (Contestant No. 1), Sulogna Sur (Contestant No. 5), Asmita Adak (Contestant No. 7), Keya Bhattacharya (Contestant No. 8) and Mamata Pal (Contestant No. 11).

 Beauty experts from Amway India shortlisted 12 young finalists between age group of 18 to 25 years after conducting thorough screening from multiple nominations in Kolkata and West Bengal. The participants were trained in effective make over techniques using Attitude products. Robin Routh, a professional choreographer also groomed these participants.

 Speaking on the occasion,  G S Cheema, Vice President- North & Eastern Region, Amway India, said, “We are delighted with the response to the fashion show. All the participants carried themselves with élan and aplomb. The fashion show is a perfect fit in the overall game plan of Attitude which is about appreciating the person behind the face. The brand encourages women to express her personality.”

 The Fashion Show also witnessed special rounds for children and couples who were walked the ramp in traditional Bengali Attire.
