Kolkata/IBNS: Durga Puja in Kolkata is not complete without sumptuous feasts. And with the city's restaurants and cafes pulling all stops to present a diverse range of dishes, from Indian to Continental to Chinese to fusion. Even cloud kitchens are not behind. So why not give the kitchen a miss and check out what's on offer.

Monkey Bar, Kolkata

What:  Pujor Adda at Monkey Bar
When: September 23 to October 9, 2022
Time: Noon - midnight
On the menu:  Inspired by Kolkata’s popular street-side snack, the Moong and Jowar Pakoda Chaat is topped with pomegranate and raw mango chutney, rum infused tamarind chutney and sev; Mochar Seekh Kebab, banana flower and sweet potato seekh, drizzled with a spicy red chilli sauce, served with raw banana peel chutney and garlic cabbage slaw; Murgir Cutlet, Bengali-style minced chicken cutlet, with pickled chilli, pineapple and khejur chutney; Radhuni Murgi Tikka, chicken marinated in our house-made radhuni masala and whipped yoghurt with apple and tomato chutney; Kosha Mangsho sliders, pulled kosha mangsho (mutton) in milk buns with pickled cucumber; served with house-made potato chips and green chilli and mint mayo; Malai Chingri Fuluri, marinated in malai curry; panko crusted and deep-fried; served with gondhoraj lebu mayo and raw papaya chutney; K &P Maach, kasundi and panch phoron marinated fish, tandoor grilled and served with a sour cream, mint chutney and purple cabbage slaw

What: Celebrate Durga Puja with traditional Burmese food

On the menu: Samosa Soup, Kachin Dried Mustard Soup, Asparagus, Tofu and Long Beans Salad, Lotus Root Salad, Chilly Tangy Chickpea Tofu, Roasted Poppy Potato and Brussels Sprout, Pyajoo Kari Chaat, Steamed Rice with Paper Parcel along with the signature dishes like Mandalay Curry Noodles - a hearty bowl of flat noodles in a mild, freshly squeezed coconut milk curry with green tomatoes and shallots, topped with crispy fried noodles; Shiitake and Pok Choy Burmese Ramen, an umami broth of shiitake with crumbled tofu, greens, and rice noodles served with roasted chili and red bean relish
