Robert Irwin following his father's footsteps as his latest video shows his daredevil encounter with a snake

| @indiablooms | Jul 13, 2020, at 10:27 pm

Los Angeles: Robert Irwin, the-16-year-old son of noted late environmentalist Steve Irwin, seems to be following the footsteps of his father and this is evident from his latest Instagram video where he could be seen handling a snake like a pro environmentalist.

However, his recent meeting with the animal left him hurt.

He posted a video where he could be seen bitten by a snake.

The reptile was a non-venomous carpet python.

Robert pointed out that the same had happened to his dad decades ago.

"Wait for it ???? After a snake rescue with this cheeky carpet python while filming for ‘Crikey! It’s the Irwins’ it brought back fun memories of a very similar situation that happened decades before in one of the original crocodile hunter documentaries!" Robert posted on Instagram.

"Maybe it was her way of saying ‘thanks’ for being rescued!
You can see how this all unfolded on our ‘Crikey! It’s the Irwins - Life in Lockdown’ special on Animal Planet this Saturday July 11 in the USA," he said.

The video has already earned 3.5 lakh likes and hundreds of comments so far.
