Nagarahole National Park: Three poachers nabbed

Mysuru, Aug 21(UNI) Karnataka Forest officials have arrested three armed poachers who tried to enter Nagarahola National Park at Devammachi area in and Chowkorru regon.

Forest officials said on Wednesday that the arrested have been identified as Khalid, Shahu and Ziad of Ambatti village of Virjapet. Two others escaped from the spot.

The officials recovered 2SBRL guns, 8 live bullets, 2 plastic covers, a cloth cover, torch and three Mobile phones from them.

They had come to the forest in a car, Conservator of Forest Nagarajaswamy said that they attempted to enter the forest to kill animals and sell their meat.
