Maharashtra: One more tested positive in Nanded

Nanded/UNI: One more person has been tested positive for COVID-19 at Abchal Nagar area of the city, on Sunday.

District civil surgeon Dr Neelkanth Bhosikar confirmed the news and said that the patient, who arrived late in the evening, tested positive for COVID-19.

Following the detection of the new case, the district administration got into action mode and was planning the further strategy to control the probable spread of infection by the virus.

As reported earlier, first COVID-19 positive patient was found on Wednesday and later on the entire Peer Burhan and adjoining areas were sealed and declared as containment zone.

Now, after finding second positive patient, the district administration has decided to teighten the situation, sources added.
