Maharashtra: New born baby girl tests Covid positive in Palghar, hospitalised

Palghar/UNI: A just born baby girl, tested positive for Covid, has been admitted to the Jawhar hospital for treatment, the district authorities said.

This was the first case of a just born contracting Covid, however, her mother Ashwini Kate of Darsheth tested negative.

The woman had delivered the baby girl at a private nursing home in Palghar, it was stated.
