Ranchi/IBNS: In order to identify the hidden coronavirus patients, the Jharkhand government has decided to conduct Special Rapid Antigen Testing Drive (SRATD) across Jharkhand.

The government has urged the people to go to the designated health centres and get tested voluntarily if they have Covid-19 symptoms or have come in contact with any infected person.

In wake of the rising cases of Coronavirus in the state, the Jharkhand Rural Health Mission Committee had conducted SRATD across the districts of Ranchi, East Singhbhum, Palamu and Dhanbad on August 17 and 18.

During these two days, a total of 32,090 samples were collected in the four districts,  out of which 995 were detected Covid positive and the average positivity rate was 3.1 percent .
