India records slight spike in new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

New Delhi: Showing a slight spike in comparison to the previous 24 hours period, India has recorded 12,143 new COVID-19 cases in the period of a day, as per Ministry of Health released data on Saturday.

During the same period of 24 hours, 103 deaths due to the COVID-19 were recorded.

The total death toll due to the highly infectious disease now stands at 1,55,550.

The total number of virus cases reported so far is now 1,08,92,746.

There are 136571 active cases in the country at present.
