India records 8,635 COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

New Delhi: India registered yet another day of decline in the number of daily COVID-19 cases as 8,635 new cases were recorded in the past 24 hours, as per the Ministry of Health released data on Tuesday.

A total of 1,07,66,245 infections have been recorded in the country so far.

The country reported 94 deaths in the past 24 hours.

The death toll due to the disease now stands at 154486.

So far, 10448406 people have been discharged from hospital.

There are 163353 active cases in the country at present.
