India records 12,584 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

New Delhi: India registered 12,584 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, continuing the trend of recording a lower number of cases in recent times, as per Ministry of Health records released on Monday.

India also recorded 167 deaths during the same period.

The death toll due to the deadly virus now stands at 151327.

So far, 10111294 people have been discharged from the hospital after treatment.

There are 216558 active cases in the country at present.
