Covid-19 deaths in Delhi jump past 100 mark

New Delhi/UNI: With 20 fresh deaths being reported due to COVID-19 in the National Capital, the total number of fatalities due to the virus has jumped past 100 mark in the city, Delhi health bulletin said on Wednesday.

'The deaths are reported of April and May as per case sheets received from hospitals, after audited by committee, 'the bulletin read.

So far, 106 people in Delhi have lost their lives due to the pandemic.

A total of 359 fresh cases were reported in the city in the past 24 hours pushing the count to 7998, the health bulletin said.

The figure includes 5034 active cases and 2858 recovered patients, it said.

'All figures are tentative, subject to change on receipt of additional information,' the bulletin added.
