COVID-19 cases surge in Karnataka, nearly 10k infected in past 24 hrs

Bengaluru/UNI: Karnataka on Monday reported 9,579 fresh cases of the Covid-19 in the last 24-hours taking the total number of people infected from the pandemic disease to 10,74,869.

According to official sources while as many as 52 persons had succumbed to death attributing to the COVID-19 pandemic, on Monday, as many as 2,767 coronavirus contracted people got discharged in the last 24-hours after being completely cured of the disease.

The sources informed that the Karnataka state has as many as 75,985 active cases are in the state including 470 persons in ICU's in various hospitals.

In the last 24-hours as many as 116165 persons had undergone for the COVID-19 tests including that of 6313 of the Rapid Antigen Detection Tests, the sources added.
