Covid-19: 66 tested negative in UP's Auraiyya

Auraiyya/UNI: In a matter of relief, 66 people were tested negative for the novel coronavirus in this Uttar Pradesh district, District Magistrate said on Thursday.

DM Abhishek Singh here said that the reports of 66 COVID-19 suspects came back negative, late Wednesday evening.

He said that these people, hailing from Rampura and Chirkua village, were the contacts of a positive patient who had returned from Indore and their samples had been sent for testing on May 5. 

Across the nation, the tally is inching close to 53,000 with over 1700 deaths.
