COVID-19: 123 new cases reported in Rajasthan

Jaipur/UNI:  The number of Novel Coronavirus cases in Rajasthan reached 18,785 on Friday, as 123 more cases were registered in the state during the past 24 hours, while the death toll also climbed to 435 as five deaths were registered during the same time period.

As per the Health Department report released this morning, maximum 23 cases were detected at Sikar, while Jaipur reported 21, Kota 20, Dausa 17, Udaipur nine, Bikaner eight, Hanumangarh and Rajasamand six, Ajmer four, Barmer and Jhunjhunu two, one at Bhilwara, , Alwar one case, one at Nagaur, , one at Sawai Madhopur and one at Tonk.

Among the five who died, one belonged to Ajmer, two were from Dholpur, one from Dungarpur and one from Sirohi, this takes the death toll to 435.

Till date, the western state has detected 18,785 cases of COVID-19, out of whom 3307 are active cases.
