Coronavirus: 48 new cases reported, tally nears 14k in Aurangabad

Aurangabad, Maharashtra/UNI: As many as 48 people were tested positive for novel coronavirus on Friday morning here increasing the tally of infected to 13890.

According to the district administration sources, 32 fresh cases were reported from Aurangabad Municipal Corporation area while 16 were from rural pocket in the district.

They said that 9961 patients were cured and discharged while 469 lost their lives due to the virus since the outbreak of the pandemic in the district.

At present, 3460 active patients were currently undergoing treatment at different hospitals and covid centres, they added.

On Thursday, 276 positive cases with six fatalities were reported in the district.
