13 new COVID-19 cases detected in Nanded

Nanded/UNI: With testing 13 new persons positive to coronavirus on Sunday, tally rose to 97, out of which 60 are under treatment, 30 were released, 2 are still absconding and 5 are dead.

Of the 380 pending reports, 374 were received today indicating 13 to be positive who are in the age group of 13 to 74 including one woman.

Amongst the newly spotted positive patients 9 hail from other states, 1 is from Karbala Nagar, 2 from Abchal Nagar and 1 is from Barad in Mudkhed tehsil.

A statement issued by the District Civil Hospital said that of the 60 positive patients, 8 are undergoing treatment at Dr Shankarrao Chavan Government Medical College and Hospital, 50 are under treatment at Punjab Bhavan and Yatri Niwas Covid Care Centers and 2 are at Dharmshala Covid Care Centre Barad.

Till now a total of 5 of the positive patients succumbed.

Meanwhile. the collector Vipin Itankar has issued an order easing the rules of lockdown to permit some establishments to keep open on some days at certain times.

The shops including that of automobiles, computers, electronics, electrical, tyres, battery, mobile shop, watches, stationery, cycle stores, steel traders and building material can be kept open from Monday to Friday from 0700 hrs in the morning to 0200 hrs in the afternoon.

All grocery shops can remain open on all days except Sundays at the same time. The agricultural-related shops can be kept open every day from morning 0700 hrs to 1700 hrs while hospitals and medical stores can be kept open 24 hours without any restriction of day.

This ease is not meant for the establishments located in the containment zones.
