11 more AIIMS healthcare workers test Covid-19 positive

New Delhi/IBNS: A total of 11 health workers, including two resident doctors, have tested positive for Covid-19 at the the AIIMS, taking the tally of cases to 206 in the hospital, media reports said.


 
So far two faculty members and 10 resident doctors have been infected while 26 nurses have also contracted coronavirus, said reports.
Security guards, sanitizers, technicians, too, have been infected by coronavirus in India's most prestigious hospital and medical college.
A total of 34 sanitisation workers, 49 hospital attendants and 69 security guards have tested Covid-19 positive, reported media.
 
AIIMS recorded 63 positive cases in the last three days, added reports.
 
However, a total of 150 healthcare personnel have recovered from the disease and have joined work, the hospital has confirmed, reported media.
