India reports 405 new Covid-19 cases in 24 hours

New Delhi/UNI: India has reported 405 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, as per the Health Ministry on Tuesday.

With this, the active caseload stood at 7,104 which is 0.02% of the total cases, as per the Ministry.

The death toll has risen to 5,31,843 with 6 new deaths reported in the last 24 hours in various parts of the country.

The total number of people who have recuperated from the disease is 4.49 crore (4,49,86,934).

The COVID-19 recovery rate stood at 98.80 per cent, whereas the fatality rate was recorded at 1.18%.

The Ministry said 1,282 vaccine doses of COVID have been administered during the last 24 hours under the nationwide vaccination drive.

Around 220.66 cr Total Vaccine doses (95.21 cr Second Dose and 22.87 cr Precaution Dose) have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive said the Ministry.

Meanwhile, 92.94 cr total tests conducted so far; 1,08,726 tests conducted in the last 24 hours showed the Ministry data.
