India registers 14,199 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

New Delhi: Once again witnessing a spike, India recorded 14,199 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, as per the Ministry of Health reported data on Monday.

The country also recorded 83 deaths.

There are 150055 active cases in the country at present.

So far, 10699410 people have recovered from the highly infectious disease.

The total death toll in the country due to the virus now stands at 156385.

The fatality rate stood at 1.42 per cent.
