Himachal Pradesh: Magnitude 3.3 earthquake hits Chamba, no casualty

Chamba, Jan 12 (IBNS): An earthquake measuring 3.3 on the Richter Scale hit Chamba area of Himachal Pradesh on Saturday, as per India Meteorological Department said.

No casualty or damage to property has been reported so far.

The quake hit the Chamba district at 12.31 pm.

The quake hit at a depth of 5 kms.

The epicentre of it was located at latitude 32.7 degrees north and longitude76.0 degrees east.
