Mild earthquake hits Himachal Pradesh

New Delhi, Aug 21 (IBNS): An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale hit the northern state of Himachal Pradesh on Thursday.

The quake's epicentre was 24 km northeast of Dharamsala.

Tremors were felt in Palampur and Chandigarh too.

There have been no reports of casualty or loss of property so far.
