Markets remain upbeat on Monday

Mumbai, Apr 18 (IBNS) The Indian markets closed on an upbeat note on Monday, largely fuelled by strong quartet-end earnings posted by IT major Infosys and expectations of a normal monsoon, with the Sensex up 189.61 points to 25816.36 and Nifty up 64.25 points to 7914.70.

New Delhi, Apr 18 (IBNS) The Union Ministry of Commerce & Industry published the official Wholesale Price Index (WPI) for ‘All Commodities’ (Base: 2004-05=100) for March, 2016 on Monday, which shows that WPI rose by 0.3 percent to 174.6 (provisional) from 174.0 (provisional) recoded in February.

New Delhi, Apr 18 (IBNS) The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as published on Monday Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas was US$ 40.21 per barrel (bbl) on Friday. This was lower than the price of US$ 40.66 per bbl published on Thursday.
