Top official quits Infosys to pursue 'out-of-the-world' assignment

Bangalore, June 16 (IBNS): The president and head of Americas for Infosys, Sandeep Dadlani, left the IT giant to pursue an 'out-of-the-world' assignment on Friday, according to media reports.

In a statement on LinkedIn, Dadlani said: "I have decided to pursue my personal interests elsewhere. Next up: An out-of-the world assignment! Stay tuned."

Dadlani was also the global head for manufacturing, retail, CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) and logistics.

Regarding Dadlani's quit, Infosys CEO Vishal Sikka was quoted as saying, "Sandeep has played a key role in the success of Infosys over his career and in our transformation journey these past three years. We wish him the best in the journey ahead."

The IT major has announced the name of Karmesh Vaswani as the global head retail, CPG and logistics while Nitesh Banga as the global head for manufacturing.
