Tata Sons announces appoints Nupur Mallick as Group Chief Human Resource Officer

Mumbai, Apr 19 (IBNS): Tata Sons on Thursday announced the appointment of Nupur Mallick as the new Group Chief Human Resource Officer. 

Mallick will report to the Chairman of Tata Sons, N Chandrasekaran in her new role.

Currently, Mallick is Director Human Resources for Tata Consultancy Services in UK and Ireland.

A long-time Tata Group employee, she started her career with TCS in 1997 and has worked across various HR functions like talent acquisition, organisational change management, compensation and benefits as well as Employee Engagement, Policy & Process Development in multiple geographies.

Mallick will take over from S Padmanabhan who is holding the responsibility presently.

Padmanabhan will continue to be Executive Chairman, Tata Business Excellence Group and Head, Sustainability Group reporting to Chandrasekaran.
