Kolkata, Nov 9 (IBNS): Server Tech Private Limited, a start-up from Kolkata, recently launched its new app Hyfie.

Hyfie will provide a platform for social and business payments where both the customer and the merchant can exchange goods and services in consideration for money.

Shadab Sultan Mullick, Md Afroz Khan and Md Suzaat Hussain are the architects of the start-up.

The app will provide a varied range of products, including groceries, fruits, meat, and stationery.

The app will not charge any amount on the money being spent.

The app also has two other features called group gathering and live location sharing and tracking.

With the group gathering feature, a person will be able to track the movements of other people who are present in a group.

With the help of live location sharing and tracking feature, one will be able to track others' location and also their movement.

However, the privacy issue has not been sacrificed by the app.

In both the features- group gathering and live location sharing and tracking- one will be able to get the movement of others if it is approved by the one who will be tracked.

With the location tracking feature, one can track others' movement for the past seven days.

Whoever is being tracked, can opt out of the tracking feature any time he or she desires.

The project has seen an investment in excess of Rs 35 lakhs but with more features and services lined up, it will swell to Rs 50 lakhs approximately by the end of this fiscal, the company said.

Speaking about HYFIE, Shadab said: “The users will find some unique social features like Destination Tracking, Group Gathering, Live location Sharing and Tracking and will also find goods and services for their daily requirements, such as grocery, vegetables, fruits, meat, laundry, stationary etc at the swipe of a finger."

"While merchants will get a complete billing solution with Pre-Payment (Payment Request) and Post Payment Invoicing system in accordance with GST calculation and GST statement preparation, which will help merchants to pay the GST amount with accurate GST statement and will also allow the businesses to get all their billing data on one page irrespective of the payment mode they accepted the payment with,” he added.

The start-up has launched the app in Eastern India first and will move across the country before travelling to UAE and Canada.
