Sensex advances 366 pts, Nifty rises by 101.20 pts

Mumbai/UNI: Extending its gains for the fourth consecutive session, Sensex on Wednesday advanced 366 points to 60,982.96 as buying was seen across the board.

The Sensex registered the days high and low at 61,044.89 and 60,850.93 points respectively.

The Nifty rose by 101.20 points to 18,156.95. It registered the days high and low at 18,184.60 and 18,128.80 points respectively.

The Mid Cap moved up 0.50 percent and Small Cap by 0.80 percent.

In 30 scrips, 23 advanced while 7 declined.

The gainers were IndusInd Bank by 1.38 percent to Rs 930.95, Kotak Bank by 1.33 percent to Rs 1,962.55, Reliance Industries by 1.32 percent to Rs 2,487.35, HDFC by 1.17 percent to Rs 2,742.45, and SBI by 1.06 percent to Rs 511.30.

The losers were Titan by 0.98 percent to Rs 2,625.25, TCS by 0.58 percent to Rs 3,893, Dr Reddy's Lab by 0.38 percent to Rs 4,653.40 and Maruti Suzuki by 0.19 per cent to Rs 8,129.45.
