NASSCOM to host TechConclave, North Bengal 2015
Kolkata, Mar 10 (IBNS): To evangelize the start-up community of eastern India and increase the employability as well as entrepreneurship quotient of students, the National Association of Software and Services Company (NASSCOM) is set to host its first edition ofTechConclave, North Bengal 2015.
The event will be held at Inspiria Knowledge Campus, Siliguri on Friday.
The full day session will witness hands-on activities and sessions, giving attendees an understanding of the benefits and challenges of entrepreneurship.
The Tech-Conclave aims to bring together practitioners from the software industry and the entire NASSCOM Eastern Region Product Council to exchange meaningful ideas.
This would be an ideal platform for students to interact with industry leaders and get insights on the latest technologies, trends, industry requirements and expectations.
Nirupam Chaudhuri, Regional head – EAST, NASSCOM while talking about the event said, “We are very enthusiastic about the overall response for this NASSCOM Meet up in North Bengal. There is ample talent available in this part of India and we need such industry’s initiatives to channelize them for proper utilization. Inspiria has started to do some good works here and I am sure initiatives like these are much needed for local employment generation. The NASSCOM 10,000 start-ups team is here to support this evolving ecosystem.”
The Tech-Conclave will create an opportunity for students to listen, participate and actively engage with iconic people and thought leaders of the industry. As part of the session NASSCOM will select few student start-ups who will be awarded a Start-up Kit to help build scalable ideas for the market. The start-up kit would include a package worth $25,000 of value added services and credits from Google, Amazon, Microsoft and other companies.
