MG Motor India begins quest for the next big tech startup

New Delhi, Nov 16 (IBNS): MG Motor India has embarked upon a quest to collaborate with technology startups in India.

The British automotive marque “MG”, which recently inaugurated its first manufacturing facility at Halol in Gujarat, aims to bring additional synergies to its automotive business in the coming years, especially in the areas of telematics and manufacturing.

“India is home to a number of entrepreneurs and innovative minds, who choose to go the start-up route, including the mobility space.

As part of MG’s commitment to build a culture of constant innovation, we are open to exploring various opportunities for collaborating with any technology startup that brings additional synergies to our business,” said Rajeev Chaba, President & Managing Director, MG Motor India.

To this effect, MG Motor India has joined hands with TiE Delhi, a nonprofit association that mentors’ startup founders, to launch the ‘MG Drives Innovation’ program. Under this program, select startups will be invited to engage in any of the three models:
