Indian Market: Sensex zooms 619.92 pts

Mumbai/UNI: The BSE Sensex on Wednesday zoomed 619.92 pts to close at 57,684.79 on the strength of Metal, Bankex, Energy and Auto stocks.

The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too rose 185.70 pts at 17,166.90.

The Sensex registered days high and low at 57,846.45 and 57,346.78 respectively.

The Nifty recorded days high and low at 17,213.05 and 17,064.25 pts respectively.
